Mercury Cafe - April 2021 - Taken by Erik Branom

My name is Enmanuel, but most people know me as Eman. I am a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, and creator based out of Denver. I've lived my entire life in Colorado and grew up in Aurora. I'm probably the tallest person you've ever met or have yet to meet and I've been playing music ever since I can remember. My parents got me into piano lessons when I was young and my dad showed me some chords on the guitar probably around the same time. Over the years I learned alto sax, percussion, drums, and would dabble in guitar.

I decided to start my journey in jazz in 2014 and graduated in 2020 with a bachelor's in music, with a concentration in jazz guitar. I've been making art since 2010 and I started producing beats around this time as well. I am 27 years old now and music has been my life since my earliest of memories.

Currently, I work as a full-time musician in Denver. I teach private lessons in guitar, bass guitar, beginner piano and music theory, both online and in person. You can find me on a Wednesday evening performing at Meadowlark Bar (check instagram or the calendar to see dates), Thursday evening at Gerard’s Pool Hall, and Colorado Community Fellowship on Sunday mornings. I am Kayla Marque’s musical director/guitarist and perform around town with various Denver groups. Check out my calendar for my upcoming performances.
